I know these are pricier, but they seem to be a great investment for someone who shoots a lot. Has anyone here made the plunge for a set? How well do they work? How do they compare with a set of MSA's? Which ones are the best?
I have a set of analog ESP's. They are terrific for providing amplified in ear hearing pro. However the analogs do not have as good of sound quality as the MSA's. You would have to upgrade to the digital models.
edited to add.....If you haven't had the experience of digital sound the Analog ESP's will be great there is just a slight difference. For me definitely not a $1200 difference.
I have a set of the analog ESPs as well and use them for all long gun shooting. Like Smokshwn said, I'm sure the digital ones are better but they get pretty pricey.

I wear a pair of Digital ESP's almost everyday, and the best advantage of the digitals is that they can be "tuned" for your hearing. Get a hearing test done, and provide that to ESP, and they can tune the digitals for your hearing profile, which really helps their performance.
I also have a pair of ESP digital 2s. I'm perfectly comfortable with muffs for pistol shooting but GREATLY prefer in-ear solutions for rifles. Makes a huge difference in your cheek weld and site picture, and is generally more comfortable. If you shoot a lot it's a very worthwhile investment
I have had analog ESP's probably since before they made digitals. Mine are about 10 years old and still ticking....only thing that has ever broken was the battery doors. .
Another analog ESP user here. I've had them for 10 years (paid $950) as well and no issues, they work great. I use them for all my shooting needs and for hunting as well. I can't comment on them vs. the MSA's though.
I have some earinc's. I like them and they work with my radio. Only bad thing if you have them molded is if you lose some weight they don't fit as well. http://earinc.com/
