Picked this up last week from my local gun shop. Really happy with the fit and feel of it. Clicks are extremely tactile, and completely blow my old Bushnell 4200 3-12x50 out of the water.

I had it out over the weekend (didn't get to shoot it yet, sadly), and I noticed quite the blue bloom when looking at white objects over green forestry, on full 24x. I was wondering how much is considered normal (or if there should be any really noticeable chromatic aberration in an optic of this price range). Here is the best scope pic I could get for now looking at 50 meters or so on the edge of a white roof. It was noticeably worse on a bright day, looking at an HV insulator on a power pole. Thoughts anyone?

Some through the scope videos of my Zeiss and Trijicon at max power:

I find that scopes with high light transmission will be touchy and exhibit some blue bloom on very bright objects on bright days. Eye position is critical at max mag.

Will see how my SS HD 5-20 does in this department when I get it.

Nice videos, looks like the digiscope thing does a very good job. Seeing a mucho-money scope do the same thing makes me feel a bit better. I'm eager to see your SS scope vids too.

Generally the higher end scopes are the ones that are able to maintain absolute clarity throughout the entire magnfication range when you start getting above 20X.

Looks like this scope has potential to be a good performer in the price range. I like hearing that the turrets have a very positive feel to them.

My Zeiss was doing a bit too much of it so I sent it back to them for some adjustments. Even gave them a linky to my vid...LOL.

It does a bit less of it now. Odd thing with the Zeiss versus others is it can fringe some but still show ragged bullet holes at 300.
