A shoutout to Joe Racosky from NK.
My non bluetooth 4500AB stopped communicating with its cradle and/or two of my computers (one Win 8 the other a bootcamp Mac running Win 7). I couldn't transfer profiles, update firmware, bootloader, whatever.
Joe sent me a new unit without waiting for me to return the old (new one came with return shipping prepaid for old). The new unit worked like a charm.
Joe mentioned in an email that another customer was having exactly the same problem and that he was looking forward to figuring out what was going on.
The entire transaction took just a few days.
Really nice experience, particularly in an environment where such things aren't the norm.
