You really don’t think launching an attack that takes 6+ hours to arrive is the most effective…. If they want them to be. Nothing rallies the plebs quicker than an attack on a homeland. Both US and Israeli prez are in a bad way politically. Israel should consider itself very fortunate that it does not share a land border with Iran.

Unless Israel uses nuclear weapons, Israel cannot hope to win a direct confrontation with Iran. If Israel does use nuclear weapons, then Pakistan will likely step in and use its nuclear weapons to finally end Israel and thus there will be peace in that region, for a few years any way.
