I heard you guys were excited about a new scope so I made you a SFP available only in MOA with Chinese glass, you’re welcome.
Seriously hope FFP is there, and its not just a 30mm lightweight Strike Eagle.
"Heard ya'll asking for a 20-22oz Japaneeze 3-18x42 FFP MIL with locking elevation and capped windage and a hunting friendly reticle, heres a 26oz Chin-nuh 3-15x44 SFP Strike Turkey...cause its for hunting, get it???"
But seriously, hopefully it's something good. I just sleuthed that pic on the internetz.
Wtf. Another swing and miss.
I mean give them a little credit. If it’s a Viper it should be Filipino, not Chinese.Seriously hope FFP is there, and its not just a 30mm lightweight Strike Eagle.

No it’s got more to do with neck size. Play a lot of football, wrestle, box, lift weights and when you get 50 plus you will join usI don't even know what a CPAP machine is.
It is some weird obese American thing?
Where did you find this? I have not seen anything about it.There is a FFP version of the Viper HD 5-35-50 coming, in MRAD & MOA. With exposed locking elevation and capped windage.

I love you website scraping sleuths. Wonder how big the Defender XL will be.Looked at their website for any changes in the last 2 weeks with links to riflescopes that don't exist. Here is what I found:
Viper HD 5-25x50
Viper HD 3-15x44
Viper HD 3-15x44 SFP
Can't imagine them calling one SFP if the others are not FFP. Couldn't find specs, other than a whats in the box image for the 3-15 SFP.View attachment 8413627View attachment 8413628View attachment 8413630View attachment 8413631
Also found recent updates referencing the following:
- Defender XL Red Dot
- 10x32 and 8x32 Razor UHD Binos
- Tan AMG UH-1 Holographic Sight

The problem is fudds, they still buy this stuff and companies don't want to spend money on a product that wont sell. The 2-10x42 has to be a joke. Why we are still using SFP and BDC reticles in 2024 is beyond me. That optic would be really nice with a FFP mil-tree reticle.
china Athlon keeps winning in that category.
to be fair the L scopes cost 50% more street priceSomehow Vortex out Leupold’ed Leupold. The Mark 4HD lineup makes a lot more advances than these.
Yep, the movement is slow towards a good crossover, more companies offering lighter FFP options but still no real crossover reticles to make them appealing. Remember how Premier Reticles got started, we need another company like this today to put out better crossover reticles. How about a Vortex Custom Reticle Shop…The problem is fudds, they still buy this stuff and companies don't want to spend money on a product that wont sell.
Unfortunately the lack of decent FFP designs has meant people wont even try to transition to FFP, there is now a small "movement" of people to FFP for hunting with the likes of the Athlon Helos, but it's definitely slow.
A-fucken-menwe don't need a tree on every scope
Trees and BDC’s in SFP’s is just asking for problems. But the Fudds eat them up so they still make mfr’s lots of money.we don't need a tree on every scope
and FFP in LPVOs is stupid as FUDD as well.Trees and BDC’s in SFP’s is just asking for problems. But the Fudds eat them up so they still make mfr’s lots of money.
Something in the elevation specs is definitely odd.
The 5-25 PST 2 in MOA lists 70 MOA of elevation and 20 MRAD
However the Viper HD 5-25, lists:
47 MOA with revstop and 68 MOA without
18.9 MRAD with revstop and 20 MRAD without. (incidentally 47 MOA and 18.9 MRAD is the # they list for the Strike Eagle 5-25 with RevStop)
One of those doesn't add up, given how much elevation the Strike Eagle loses with the RevStop installed I'd imagine the MOA #'s are closer, which would mean the MRAD would be closer to 13.7 MRAD if you wanted to use the RevStop. That's a pretty big elevation hit compared to the PST 2 which isn't winning any elevation contests in the first place. However, the odds of both those #'s lining up perfectly with the Strike Eagle is unlikely so the actual numbers are probably something different. Manual for it lists the same #'s as the webpage specs, but it seems unlikely the MRAD version somehow loses almost no elevation with the RevStop and the MOA version loses a ton.
FOV is basically identical to the PST 2 as well
The 8 in 18.9 should be a 3 as in 13.9 so maybe a blurry 3?
Revstop limits the elevation travel to just under two turns. One turn is 10 mrad, so just under two turns works out to be around 19mrad.Something in the elevation specs is definitely odd.

Yeah, it seems odd but it's probably just due to the difference in travel per turn in the MOA and MRAD versions.Revstop limits the elevation travel to just under two turns. One turn is 10 mrad, so just under two turns works out to be around 19mrad.

The fudds got it right, we don't want 6x erector FFP when the reticle is useless on low magnification. LEUPOLD got it right on having 4x erector , i just gotta get one and confirm. The problem is fudds, they still buy this stuff and companies don't want to spend money on a product that wont sell.
