For a variable power(around 20 power max) tactical scope with 1/2 MOA elevation adjustments for around 500 bucks?

Seems like getting a scope manufacturer to produce a reasonably priced under-one-turn-to-1000-yard scope is like trying to get Dracula to eat pesto sauce.

Ideas will be appreciated.

Yeah that's a tough one. I believe some of the leupold Mark 2 scopes come with 1/2 moa adjustments with the T2 knobs, (3-9x and 4-12x).

Outside of that the only non-custom shop mark 4 I know of with 1/2 moa elevation is the M2 2.5-8x and M2 3.5-10 desert tan overpriced hunk for like $1400. I believe there was a 3x9 version as well but it's out of production now. M3 versions have 1 moa elevation adjustments. It also doesn't look like you can set up a scope in the custom shop with M2/T2 knobs unless it's already a model that comes with them. IE you can't get T2 knobs on a VII/VIII or M2 knobs on even the scopes with M3 knobs (though the web page may just be messing that up).

I agree with ya though for most uses 1/2 moa is more than enough, and it's faster to adjust. Even at 800 yards it gets you within +/- 2" of your target.

Outside of them I don't know anyone else doing 1/2 moa adjustments in that price range.
