Is Kenosha the start of Civil War II?

I feel like constantly bringing it up like this is silly. Reminds me of kids in the back of my car asking if we are there yet. So many folks are so eager to have free reign to unleash some street justice on "the other side." Maybe you'll be the Rambo hero of your block or town. Maybe you'll get to play out your fantasy of sniping from a hide on your property or from your house. But then what?

If you think the covid response has brought havoc on our economy and the finances of families you know or are part of, then buckle up. If you think our home grown industries, local shops, and supply chain of necessities will be maintained, think again.

You might be well-protected, fortified, and stocked up with plenty of ammo and food. But what about the relatively defenseless people you care about? You can't protect them all.

If you think that our true external adversaries won't take advantage of our situation in every way possible, think again.

If you've ever been somewhere where a civil war has recently happened or currently happening, you would not be calling for it. If you want a safe and secure place for your kids and grand kids, you'll stop trying to get everyone riled up.

The idiots that are starting riots, burning businesses, and terrorizing our streets will get what's coming to them. Maybe you'll get "lucky" and live out your fantasy in abbreviated form defending your business or home against these hoodlums (and not get prosecuted for it). But I wish folks would stop stirring the Civil War pot.

But just in case, buy more ammo....

Yall can cling to your turkey dinners and ipads, your foreign relations and MSM optics. I was taught to eat roots and sleep without fire before I was ever a real man, and I've never cared who might be put off by my convictions. Maybe in that it means something different to me to live a fulfilling life. Whether there will be a civil war or we are spiraling into it already, I intend to live and die as a patriot. That is the only thing I worry about at all anymore.

Unfortunately this optimism will lead to complacency and enough Trump supporters will assume victory without their vote....
no it won't... not this time.... the left has done a fine job of awakening our kindship with our founders and why they constituted the documents they way they did... make no mistake, there will be no complacency in this vote from the right, to the middle... and there are many of all races who see what the left is attempting to pull off... no my friend, there will be no complacency this go round.... why do you think the left is attempting to pull the mail in vote gambit? they fear that the only way they can win would be through cheating... if anything, this will be viewed as an historic opportunity to save this nation... our forefathers did their part, and now it is time for us to preserve what they did and what they sacrificed on our behalf...

I hope you're right but I don't see that happening given the circle of people I interact with. Much of the dialogue revolves around "when" Trump wins...not "if".

you are from Montana, right?... where the 2A is viewed like being able to breath.... and where this country if viewed next to god and family.... enlarge your circle of friends if this is so, and circle up on those you describe and do a mass intervention... they need help

Your perception of Montana is not accurate. We've got a liberal governor who is a puppet for Chuck Schumer. We are being infested with Washington state and California transplants. My circle of friends likely needs no adjustment. It's a reality and the responses to my initial comment in this thread only reinforce what I stated. Trump doesn't have this election in the bag...

This ^^^^^

I've been through CB's area quite a bit. It's the liberal area of the state (well, Helena is pretty liberal as well). Lot's of "Clinton for President" and "Resist" bumper stickers. Montana is not a homogeneous mix of conservatives. Between the reservations and the imports, it's pretty diverse in MT.

It's not just the "fleeing liberals". Bozeman is a very liberal university town. It's also near Yellowstone, which has garnered a lot of peacenicks and peasant blousers, whether that be because of the natural beauty or the TV show. But the big liberal bastions are still the indian reservations. The ultimate welfare state, populated by people who wait on that monthly check, vote for anyone that promises them something, and shun anyone from the tribe that tries to leave and better themselves. It's a tragedy, but one they have embraced.

Hey I was born in Montana. I'm not proud of what its becoming. I always thought it would be the last best place.
FWIW, outside of the fact that assholes seem to roam freely in Bozeman and Missoula, Montana is actually getting statistically redder each cycle. Hard to believe. So don't let yourself get caught up in some prelapsarian Max Baucus golden age. Not saying it won't go bad, but I'd given demographic trends, I'd bet on Idaho going wrong first.

Big news in Bozeman....

Then, of all places to leave a tiremark...a crosswalk.... The accusations of racism, hate and an homophobia were rampant....

Welcome to Bozeman!

I'm still amazed (and suspicious) that he won election. Even the Crow Nation didn't endorse him (I was like, "Holy shit! That's saying something!").

Montana's only true saving grace in the fight against becoming shitty is that the cities are so worthless that nobody wants to move to them. A few good restaurants and we are well and fucked.

All I know is don’t be complacent! Just because people think he is going to win is exactly what will cause people to sit out. There is already going to be cheating beyond anything we’ve ever seen before. He is going to need all the help he can get to get re-elected. Nobody can afford to sit this one out. Go, vote! Make it happen. If you see something fishy at a poll, record it. Get it out there.

Everything west of Billings might as well be Portland now. Fucking liberals are worse than ticks. They flee the shit show they create, then vote the exact goddamn way they did when they shit in their own bed. Hopeless and helpless.
They are like locusts or the Borg. Destroy one place and move to the next

Just how did that tiger get to your ex-husband? As a big cat sanctuary operator, wouldn't you have known better to have safeguards in place?

My apologies Carole.... you and the others just gave me an education.... my presumption has been that the Mountain region, less Colorado, has been solid for Trump.... is the same true for Wyoming?
