Is there a gas block riser for the Armalite AR-10?

I'm looking for a gas block riser like this http://yankeehillmachine.com/store/product491.html but for an Armalite AR-10. Does one exist?

Why wouldn't that work for an AR10? There's no diference in the rail on the gas block.

The Armalite AR10 Flattop is 0.1" higher over bore than the AR15. Unless the Armalite AR10 gas blocks are 0.1" higher, I would need a riser than is 0.1" taller.

OK...I see what you're getting at. What's your purpose? If you're wanting a gas block mounted front folding sight for the AR10, they make them. Look at MI. Otherwise, I'm not sure of a riser for the AR10 that gives same plane as the top rail.

Nope...they do NOT exist.

Best courses of action for AR-10/308 BUIS are:

1) Get AR-10 specific BUIS that are purpose built for the differences in receiver/gas block heights compared to an AR-15 (see links below); or

2) If you have a railed handguard that the upper rail matches your receiver rail height, mount any standard AR-15 BUIS on the receiver and handguard rail and fire away.

Armalites AR10 gas block is .398+ or - thousands of an inch shorter than the upper reciever, Or so they claim. That is why they make their own front site, It doesn't fold and is about $50 bucks. I have the AR10 and have looked into their web site for info on these

Armalite makes two front sights for the AR10. One is the A2 fixed sight, which is the same on all the AR's (M15A2 and AR10A2). The other is a removable, non-folding gas block mounted frot sight for the A4 that matched the removable A2 carry handle (and a match version of both). They offer the MI folding BUIS with the gas block mounted front sight specifically for the AR10, as mentioned above, which is .100" taller than the M15 version. They also offer several same-plane folding BUIS for all the A4 style rifles with a continuous top rail.
