Is this a bad move? Tikka Remmy?

I have a tikka tac .223 and my mate has a remmy 700 but its in an AI chassis. We were talking and I told him I plan on buying a remmy 700 and putting it in an AI chasis, the same way his is, and he said he'd swop me my tikka for his Remmy. Im not sure if its a good deal though.

The chassis, if I remember correctly its a non-folder, and Im pretty sure its a remmy 700 sps varmint.

My gun is about 6 months older than his and has probably 250-500 extra rounds down the barrel.

(would just be swopping the rifles only- no scopes/bipods etc are included in deal).

Keep the tikka and look at the kinetic research group whiskey 3 chassis. They were backlogged on the gen three but they had a blem gen 2 that i just put on my scout .308 and love it. Folding stock, adjustable cheek and length of pull and they use the aics mags. Keep the Tikka!

I wanted the whiskey 3 originally but Im in the EU and will pay through the nose on tax for it along with a mountain of paperwork. But Ive shot a few AI's chassis's and quite liked them so Im happy enough with it.

Im just after checking that out. Your right. I think those dealers must be new, I remember the first time I heard about whiskey3 there was no EU dealers. Or at least none that I could find.

But yeh, I think I'll just stick with the AI since I can pick them up here with no questions asked. Even with the EU dealers Im still looking at 6 months of legal mumbo jumbo and a load of paperwork for the whiskey3 since Im still importing from a different country.

So any opinions at all on swopping the tikka for the remmy..?? Is it a bad move..??

EDIT: Just saw that post Hogtooth5r.

Im not sure if its too good to be true. I mean my gun cost 2K new. But his Remmy cost slightly under 1K but then the chassis was just over 1K, so I suppose financially its probably a sound enough deal.

Id just hate to buy it and then my shooting to go down the drain.

Do you think if I swopped I would notice much of an accuracy difference?

Double Edit: And to answer your question, both rifles are .223
