i could only watch it on my phone on a small screen....the plane looked like a f-18 to me, but like i said it was very small screen and could be anything....i have never seen an Israeli hornet, never knew they had them if in fact it was a hornet.

It was a single-tailed aircraft, so an Israeli F-16 D (most likely D block)

They probably spent that 30 minutes deciding on how (and where) to take it down. More of a impact "statement" with a missile.

The US UAV systems were developed with Israeli technology, they had pioneered UAV use. I would say we got our investment back with US soldiers lives saved. Israeli aid is not a one way street.
