I mounted my Bergara 14r in an MPA ESR chassis and had a lot of misfeeds. Another squad member and I raised the clip that holds the magazine and that helped.

Is there any actual measurements that anyone has been able to find as actual guidance? I hate sanding those mags since you cant bend them back like real mags.

You may need to "shim" the inside of the magwell in the front. The mag needs to sit all the way up against the action. Even once you've accomplished this, if you're pushing into a bag/barricade you can get some tilting of the mag. Shimming the inside of the mag well with the soft side of velcro or felt can prevent/reduce the mag tilting that can induce feed issues.

I had a friend who was having the same issue with his Bergara in a KRG Bravo. He basically needed to push the front of the magazine up a little to get it to feed properly. I took some adhesive backed Velcro (the soft portion) and stuck it on the magazine just below where the mag catch catches the magazine. This forced the front of the magazine up just enough to make it feet reliably. If you need pictures I will see if I can get him to post some.

Thanks I think I understand. I happen to place white electrical tape around each mag a d number them. The color is a quick way it see mine and them number are used to record a feed use.

I noticed the tape did seem to lock the lock into the well better.
