Rifle Scopes It's Permanent Now...

I had played around with a witness mark on top of the elevation turret drawn in with a Sharpy marker. I thought it worked well enough to keep refreshing it as it wore off in my dragbag....I finally broke out the Dremel..it's there forever now and it works. I've caught myself several times sliding the rifle back into the dragbag with the elevation turret off zero.

Laffin! Thats my work rifle and it looks like its been dragged as many miles as its been carried...Krylon and all. I'm in my early 50's now so my up close vision sux...I need all the help I can get!

Even with zero stop, I forget to zero the el turret once in awhile.

doesnt matter...the arrow is lined up with the zero on the turret...It's a single turn(13 mils), it wont go 360*.

I'm 47 as of last week, and my eyes are doin the same thing. So believe me, I understand about needing all the help we can get!!

You know what I call all those Krylon scrapes?? CHARACTER!!

That thing is a tool, not a centerpiece!!

YES!!!!! I couldn't agree more, good to see someone centered on reality and not illusion.

Yes, it is nice to have everything pretty, but form follows function. Fine idea - I don't know how many times I've realized I didn't turn the knobs back as I drive home.
