Ain't that the truth!

Couple spots left than we are shutting the registration down

A big Thank You to Jake and the crew who set up this match. Everybody had a great time, and the match ran really smooth. Thankfully the clouds gave us some relief from the direct sunlight, and we were able to focus on shooting! I really enjoyed hanging out with my squad for the day, we had three first-time match shooters learning along the way and Megan was shooting her second match. Thank you John, Steve and Aleks, and great shooting! As always, I love hanging out with this crowd and getting caught up with like-minded people from all over our region.

Jake, any chance of seeing the scores? Megan wants to know how she did, and I'm sure there are others...

Hope you guys all had a blast!!

Beautiful match and great learning!

Thanks Jake and crew for a fun time in a stunning location. Along the banks of the Snake River, cutting its way through the valley. Awesome view, and the wind coming down the river and then hitting the steep bluffs let me learn just how much wind can have a vertical component. Lots of people missed high as the wind blew the shots UP before they corrected.

Love those flashing long distance targets to easily see hits. And no one died of heat stroke so that was also a win!

Jake, I was wondering what the target size was at 1300? Was it 24" or 36"? If I read my reticle right, it worked out to 24". I had .5 mils, its been bugging me for a few days. And that was an awesome light idea on the target! Thanks again for a great shoot!

And that was an awesome light idea on the target!

We ran 2 of the IRIS lights at the JC Steel Challenge on that 1100 and 1300 yard target in March. I didn't shoot the match in March (unfortunately) but I did RO that very stage. We had the spotting scope set to the 1100 yard target and a second spotter on the 1300, after the first few shooters went through we just backed off the spotting scopes and watched the lights for impact. Good thing too, the spotting scopes started to freeze and fog up, but the lights were visible even when the white out blizzard hit.

Fantastic match Jake! Thanks to you and the whole gang for putting it on. Lunch was great too! I would highly recommend your matches to anyone that even "might" be interested.

I did my best to push everyone else up the leader board...!
