Interesting there was a burn notice on Werbell,... as well as the BKHERALD reference to him.
Long read but worth the time/effort if you remember history or know other details/people. If you knew some folks or ran in some circles a few dots start connecting rather quickly. There are/will be no cliff's notes as related info, is required to prove which dots connect.
There are 3-4 people on this board that will recall/know of some of this based upon past conversations. It took a guy I know a long time to gather this, an it's posted on the net in a few different/key places.

Old Hook had a lot of bad stuff to say about Werbell..... lots...

there were some really bent sobs in that hood... former christians doing breakfast meetings, almost like burn notice and marijuana was to shut a mouth. Esp after they let him sell the guns, like a payoff.... and there was a bush in there several people hid behind, who figured in a wilson and turpil event, who .....

And a poorly thought of RVN sniper, Waldron worked for Werbell..... further cementing Old Hooks dislike.

Old Hook thoughts on Dallas were interesting, as well as Col Bayard getting killed in 75... that killing scared him.

Wonder why Bob Brown didn't out Werbell on the marijuana in soldier of fiction magazine... I seem to recall a pic of Brown and Werbell in a weapons demo in RVN somewhere in the cobwebs....
Seemed like Brown was a Werbell cheerleader at one point... Bob knows an awful lot for such a dissembler...

One could begin by understanding that the OSS which became the CIA, had very close ties to the Cosa Nostra/ Mafia in Europe during WWII for information gathering. the Mafia hated the Nazis as much as everyone else. So when the CIA sanctioned Kennedy's assassination, it was no problem to have the New Orleans mob do the hit.

Thats why Kennedy was going to take the CIA apart into 1000 pieces...because they are criminals.

You trying to stop the economy from growing? Remember the drug war, war on poverity an battlefield war's in general spur the GDP, that is simple fact. Cash cows come in many different forms,...

Some of that Werbell stuff is really off the deep end. You read about half of it and start looking out your window and listening for helicopters in the night. Guy was sort of a lunatic, genius, publicity hound, secret operator, coke and booze hound. None of it matched. Then throw A.F. Waldron into the mix, get him send to prison, early death and I never could figure out what was going on. One of the most intriguing figures of the post war period.


I did not read the above links but plan on doing so.

I thought I was the only one left wondering about Mitchell werbell III --nobody else knows who he is. Should've known you guys would have.

I always thought it strange him being there, at that moment, knowing what he does, knowing who he does. He was the singular man on Earth at the time that could distinguish a suppressed shot from random noise. He invented the modern rifle suppressor to be used with modern ammunition and high power rifles. Having him there to assess the situation with respect to noise would have been invaluable during the clean up. And he sure as shit benefited from it, getting honorary two or three star general rank so he could fly over Vietnam as he saw fit. Allowed to sell an untested POS weapon directly to ground units. His "whispering death".

I just KNOW that motherfucker knew what was going on. Maybe not all the details, but enough.

A little known fact.

The Nicaraguan Sandinista's also financed their war with drugs, but they grew and sent thousands of tons of cannabis to the US through Cuba.

This rang so true to me it has to be what happened.

I have a hard time believing in coincidence.

As for the Kennedy family, they only rose to power during prohibition and with the mob being alcohol runners.

He was no saint. But CIA deep state is nothing new.
