Lucky enough to have met him several times, always a gentleman, to a fault.
I feel blessed to have a 500 from him, as well as the memories.
Took my son to Cody for one of his shoots, cool times.
So sorry to hear he is gone.

This was like having one of my heroes die. In high school while other kids were reading magazines dreaming about cars they'd never own, I was reading those Guns & Ammo's dreaming about 475 and 500 Linebaughs, and 5 shot .45 Colts I would never own. While I never got to own any of his, I do have a couple. This was a man who changed everything in the world of big bore revolvers.
