For those saying it's the do everything rifle... I'm with Bob on this one. They're absolutely set up as a "game gun", and it seems to me they pride themselves at that as well right along with the multitudes of competitors who run them as well. They're a specific tool for a specific job, just like others are as well. 800mZero, beautiful rifle, but rock that JP brake indoors at night in a HD situation and tell me they're well suited to that in comparison to the other options. Nobody has said they wouldn't work for that, they do run like a raped ape and are very accurate at that, but they're far from ideal. I have a self built Seekins SP3G with a 18" Noveske LW barrel that runs like a dream and is every bit as accurate as my MK12, but it is purpose built for shoot and move games and would not be what I would grab for work.
OP, sounds like you're looking for something that the JP would certainly fulfill, and since you've wanted one for a while anyhow I think you already know what you're going to do. Me personally I'm not a fan of side chargers simply because I don't want to introduce a new training technique while I still carry a standard M4 for work, but they certainly have their place as well.
