July 23 2013 I placed my order for this rifle. Oct 10 2013 it arrived at my FFL. Jp advises a break in of 20rds clean, 20 rds clean, then 300 rds before next copper removal.
On Oct 20 I fired 20 rds of 165 fed fusion I had laying around to get the scope somewhat zeroed. I then cleaned as advised by jp.
On Oct 23 I set out to fire rds 21-40, this time isin 168 fgmm. My CCB was high/left less than 1 inch. Rds 22-24 were touching starting at POA and stringing horizontally right. Rd 25 was called low.
My second group was a little better, but not great as I was more focused on learning the trigger than on POA. Group 3 was better still but my breathing caused some vertical stringing. Group 4 I spent a good 3 min perfecting my NPA and the results were much better. The last rd in the mag opened the group up just outside an inch.
I think I am really going to like this rifle! The scope used was a Leupold VXR patrol 3-9x40. The thick reticle and lack of parallax adjustment are obviously going to hold me back on group shooting a little. I intend on putting a NF 2.5-10x42 on it when funds allow. I'm not sold on the ACS stock. In the interest of consistency I think I may switch to a magpul moe fixed carbine stock.
And finally a pic of the rifle and my home guard...

I've got a ways to go learning how to shoot this rifle, but it should be a fun trip!
