Chiller, I don't know for sure, but I would think that if you had the rifle slung over your back, it would be more comfortable to have the sling attach there rather than at the end of the stock. Just a thought, it's worth what you paid for it.

Thought of that. Problem is the "standard" sling point is there also. Looks like 3 on the left side

The more options the better?

Good, with all of that money you made you can have me build you up one!!!!

What´s the difference between 1st Gen and 2nd Gen? I have only dealt with the 2nd gen M2008's.

I wish.. I ended up getting a $150 speeding ticket on the way home. Complete crock o shit considering the cop lied about where he clocked me and then later in the conversation said he clocked me at a different time and place. I knew right away that I had never been clocked at all. I told him that I had a hard time believeing that he clocked me where he said he did because there was no way he could have been 20 ft from me and my radar detector not go off. The look in his face proved that he lied but unfortunately there isnt shit I can do about it. I plan on requesting the video/audio feed from the stop so that I can prove he contradicted himself in the conversation and that it was a BS stop. Not to mention that Im hoping the vid will prove that he didnt actually clock me.

I just do as I'm told...I think it looks pretty good though!

As far as the stock, I really like it. It feels much better than an AICS, the adjustable cheek piece feels good and its pretty solid. I am thinking of buying one for my next build.

Re: Just finished another built tonight....M2008!!!!!!

Mark the difference in the Gen 1s and Gen 2s is the bolt release is a little different, and the Gen 2s have the cocking piece/bolt upgrades, and the thread pitch for the barrel is slightly different. Other than those they are exactly alike

Re: Just finished another built tonight....M2008!!!!!!

So correct me if I'm wrong. It looks to me the Badger M2008 Action is like a Accuracy International clone action correct? I wouldn't mind one of those actions but I take it won't work in the AICS stock for the Remington? How much do those actions run and the 2.0 AICS stock for it?
Sorry if this seems like a NEWB question but I had no idea that there we're clone type actions of the AI's out...I know, I've been living under a rock.
Thanks for any imput.

Re: Just finished another built tonight....M2008!!!!!!

Very, very nice! Well done. I was wondering where the stock went. I went back to Terry's website to purchse it and it was gone. Sure am glad to see it built up quick.

Thanks so much for sharing.

Sounds good, just let me know when you would like to stop out. I'm going to try to get the 1200 yard range up this spring!

The Badger M2008 will fit into the AICS for a Remington, but will require some inletting and possibly a block made around the bolt handle area for cosmetic reasons. The M2008 is around $1000 and the AICS 2.0 is rougly $1100.

Re: Just finished another built tonight....M2008!!!!!!

Thanks dude. You know I'm just fiddlin' with ya. You really should get you a nice piece of walnut and go at it with a hand rasp though. I know how much you love that stuff. In fact, I'm right in the middle of one right now. 375 Ruger built on an old Mauser. Beautiful piece of wood....that is, if I don't screw it up!
I'll keep ya posted.
See ya in VEGAS!

Re: Just finished another built tonight....M2008!!!!!!

Looks great, man! And that blackberry really takes some good pics. Definitely better than my iPhone. Those Terry Cross stocks look awesome and I think he may be coming out with a collapsible version as well. Who ever this is going to should be excited.
Keep up the good work!
