first time ever doing this, used a kitchen knife. hows it look?

wanted to keep my cleaning kit close by without having to carry etc bags etc, for when i'm on the go.

that does sound like it would be better, wouldn't want my scope getting "Self" adjusted.

</div></div> no, i'll have to check when i get back to my house, and it was that hard, i used a high-end kitchen knife to cut, the hardest part was tracing, took me both sides to get it right, i just followed the line with a shallow cut, and once i had cut it all the way around, i went back to cut all the way through.

I would put any liquids in a Ziploc bag in case of a leak. But thats similar how I did mine. Used an electric knife.

Was able to use my Rem 700 and M1A rifles in the same pattern. Just had to cut out the sights on the flash hider on the M1A.

+1. There's really no need to keep cleaning solvents with you at all times, either. Not unless you plan on taking 300+ shots per range trip. Other than that, looks good. The upper right corner looks lonely. I think you need to buy a can or a sidearm for that space.

i'm thinking about maybe making a spot to hold my ammo box for when im at the range i can put my brass in, so i don't lose track of them, and prob a slot for a data book.

it's still a WIP

also wanted a place to keep all my gun related things in one area, as i don't have a gun cabinet or safe yet, so it's much easier to just make room in my case and slap a lock on it.
