I'm Captain Dan Cohen from Miami Beach, Florida. Im a 44 year old native resident of Miami Beach, a USCG Licensed Captain, ISAF certified in personal ocean survival, PADI Rescue Diver, PADI DiveMaster and life long survival enthusiast. I also love my guns!!
I am the founder and product developer at Global Survival Systems which is the home of an ocean survival product called The Ditch Kit™, a comprehensive kit that includes signaling devices, food and water rations, first aid, satellite locator beacons and communications, Desalination units and so much more.
I have followed the hide for several years since hearing about it from George at GA Precision. I joined the Hide yesterday to learn some things and chat a little bit about the craft. I am the proud owner of a GA Precision which was custom built for me by George back in 2005 on one of the first Surgeon actions to leave the GA shop. She wears a US Optics SN3 scope and shoots remarkably tight groups. At the time i knew very little about precision long rifles (still do) and I just told George to build me the best, one of a kind rifle with a 20 inch Rock 5R barrel.
Im honored to join the Hide and to be amongst those of you that have served this great country. I am truly grateful for your service, and i thank you for your sacrifices.
