Not at all I had the 6-24 mil. Never had a tracking problem, and it always held zero. You won't be disappointed.

I think you'll enjoy the difference. Before landing here I had purchased a Nikon Monarch. After reading about Vortex line of scopes, I returned the Nikon and purchased the Vortex PST. Even though it was well past what I had budgeted, it was money well spent.
To get better glass then what Vortex is currently using, would be a big jump in expense. Once my 6.5CM is ready, using it pass the current yardage of my 223.

Im glad to hear all the good things about them. It is s 6-24 but they had it in stock and are shipping it tomorrow.

I think I just lucked out myself. I had a 6-24 FFP MRAD on backorder at O.P. since mid-December and got sick of playing the "here's your new estimated delivery date" game with them and cancelled. Randomly came across a small dealer about an hour from me who had ONE in stock. Will be driving to pick it up tomorrow morning! Cannot wait to get this and my new rifle on the range monday.

I own Razor binos, Viper spotter and Razor riflescope. You won't be disappointed in Vortex.

Glad too hear more of the good reviews. Just checked my tracking number and my scope should be waiting for me monday afternoon. That gives me something good to look foward too.

If you are going from a Nikon buckmaster to any other scope, I doubt you will be disappointed.

I always thought they was the greatest till i found sites like this that really opened up my eyes on alot of things.

cant go wrong with a FFP.
I own a Viper PST v-plex and a Razor HD. I really like FFP for ranging, but the PST SFP provides a really good picture. I also own hunting scopes (Simmons 4-18x with Bullet drop, Centerpoint 4-16 illuminated, Bushell Sportview) and the Viper's clarity and brightness is so much better for a scope that isnt really expensive and has a ton of features (big, adjustable turrets).
