First person that can provide me a LEGITAMATE link to a company that has one in stock or knows for a fact the company has one in stock gets 2 free Pmags.

Nothing over $2379. I can get in on the group buy but not guaranteed something won't happen by the time I get it so I would like to find one in stock somewhere.

I think you're on a unicorn hunt. I spent some time contacting numerous dealers with little luck. Either no stock, no ETA, or no response/callback. I went with a large dealer who normally stocks. The dealer quoted 45 days and if that is accurate, good chance of no legislation by then.

The LPR on gunbroker is -4900 and rising. If more showed up, it would still be over your budget. Best bet is to get in line if you don't want to pay a premium. I do have a dealers contact who insists if you pay in full preban the rifle is yours regardless of any future ban. However, that would be between you, him, and ATF.

Good luck - and if someone finds a dealer stocking 2 LPRs. Ill take the other and provide a finders fee as well.

I'll take one as well..... ha (I've been searching for over a month).

I'd also settle for a mod 1 carbine (new or lightly used).

Check with Kyle's gun shop in Cincinnati. They had some and they told me they were getting a shipment soon. They may be sold out now. But it's worth a try.
I spoke to them they do have 1 SR-15 in stock. Did not check on the price.

Yeah, went ahead with the group buy. Do y'all know if iron sites come on the rifle? In all the pictures, including ones on the website show the rifle with factory iron sites.

From what I've seen, yes they come with the sites. The prices are good, I'm going to pick up an LPR upper to go on a new MOD 1 I recently bought from a different vendor.
