I have been doing some looking and the Kahles 3-12 has caught my eye. FFP, MIL/MIL, and the reviews I have read are stellar.

My questions though are is the glass on pat with Zeus quality? I am spoiled as I have 3 Conquests on my hunting rifles and I love the clearness and resolution of the scope.

Also, is the 3-12 magnification range enough? If so, the scope will be getting paired with a FN SPR in 308, and will be used for targets and hunting.

Lastly, any reason not to save a little more for a Steiner or the 6-24 Kahles?

    Thanks

I have the 6-24x56 and I think the glass is just outstanding. I know I can't relay it though a photo, but I felt this was a pretty clear shot.

I own a K312 II for six weeks, so no long experience here. But with this scope I saw the first time .308 bullets in the flight at a 300m range. That was the first time for me! Im my opinion is the Kahles par with S&B.

I was spotting for a friend with his new old HK SL7 and a new old Austrian sniper scope from Kahles. Seeing the path of the bullets in flight, I was able to talk him on the target.
