Reason I ask is I just took posession of two surgeon actioned rifles (6.5x47L & .338 NM) with the KMW knob, Just wondering what the others were like you dont get to see/try any of this stuff in Australia you order and just hope you made the right choice.

I directed that at 7Bat, I know him. As far as the O-Ring vs KMW. The O-Ring knob is smaller in diameter when compared to the KMW and is the same as the standard Surgeon knob but with O-Rings. If the orings dry rot and fall off the grooves on the knob are larger and may feel a little weird. I like the KMW better but thats just me.

Keep the KMW's and don't look back. And don't pay attention to Roscoe, he just gets upset when I have to put down my coloring book,to burn him up at a match.

Had both mentioned and the APA on my last Surgeon. APA is knurled and a bit shorter ans smaller dia than KMW. Personaly my choice of whats available as IMO the KMW is a bit large and the Surgeon is a lot fugly so the APA offers all the features I was looking for w/o being huge.
