MACS project is coming along nicely. Slowly but nicely. Results so far are excellent. While I would liked to have had it in the streets last year, it will truly be a better product because of the delays.

Live versions will have obvious additions like the LOP spacers installed and our new MUNSTER NV rail. Also trying to finish a different hinge system that will suit my fancy.
Have no idea on cost/pricing until final component costs and install times are determined.
By nature of the contract requirements this stock is being built to compete for, they will have a no bedding system. Specific mounting blocks will be permanently installed based on host weapon.
The first ones are using an integrated mounting block that is working with excellent results. One block works for short action R700/Surgeon type actions. Images of this mounting block were already shown on this site in early 2009.

The mounting blocks are working so well that I may start to offer them in the SENTINEL stocks as well.
We designed what I think is a kick ass chassis type stock about 4 years ago but decided that I did not want to jump into that exact niche. Seemed like everybody out there was making or designing aluminum frames that took AR15 grips and stocks. While mine didn't do exactly that, it was none the less close to those ideas for my taste so I shelved it.
An alternative and in my opinion a better tool is a stock that is a hybrid between a <span style="font-weight: bold">real </span>rifle stock and all the mission adaptable features of the chassis/aluminum clan. Will the final version of MACS will meet or exceed most of the specifications already out there? We shall see.
