Knife fight to the death between a Russian and Ukraine soldier.

The Russian, who was from the Yakut region of Siberia, was the victor. They're Asian or Mongolian and very tough fighters. I've watched boxers from that region literally get beat to a bloody pulp and still keep coming.

The Ukrainian conceded victory and only asked to die in peace. The Russian ended up fragging him.

In London, Mayor Khan outlawed sharp knives. So, the next guy who wanted to kill people drove his van into a crowd.

Back when I was taking classes in Tae Kwon Do in the 80s, the instructor gave reasons to wear thick shoes to block strikes. As he said, in a knife fight, you are going to get cut but you might be able to control where and how bad.

The Ukrainian tossed a grenade in the window and for some reason put his rifle down as he got up next to the structure when the grenade went off. An AK barrel poked around the corner of the building and the Ukrainian grabbed it and the fight was on.

6:40 Last words of Ukrainian soldier: That's it, mom, good bye. Wait, let me die in peace. You've opened everything (meaning all critical arteries) in me. Let me catch my breath. Very painful. unclear. Let me pass away in peace. Just don't touch me. Let me die. Don't touch me, let me die. Please go away. I want to pass away at my own. Thank you. Your were a best fighter in the world. Good bye. You were better.
Russian soldier: good bye, brother(?).
Ukrainian soldier: good bye. Don't do it.

That was bad. It was too close and personal, like the scene in Saving Private Ryan.
THIS^^^^ is truth.

Fucking warmongering Xiden and the DNC, Hell, all the DC swamp need to tried and hung, like we did to the war criminals at the Nuremberg trials.

I’m just hurting because that was most likely a real vid and not hollywood magic.

Our GWOT ROEs devolved to 3 males of fighting age in a group. That means every range day would deserve a drone strike. They don’t just hate us because they are Muslims.

WTF do we expect? This is basic war, only repeated thousands of times.
For me, it's kind of amazing that two human beings would be that committed to killing each other.

Particularly, for what ? The "paycheck" ? That can't be it. "Sense of duty, honor and country" ? Seems to me they're mercs, so that's not likely to be it. Because they were "told to/had orders" ? I suppose so, but who knows ?

I don't get the sense that many of the troops on either side understand that they are nothing more than cannon fodder for the respective MIC's on both sides that are getting very, very rich off this shit show.

Over a million combined military casualties. You'd think more of the ones still left alive would start figuring things out and saying "fuck this noise, I'm outta here". Yeah, I know, it's prison or the firing squad. Nice "choices".

And fuck biden, zelensky, the democrats, rinos and the MIC for being involved neck deep in this atrocity. And, some people wonder why so many people in the rest of the world hate us. As far as I can tell, it isn't without good reason.

''North Korean' Yakut , used a traditional knife and in the video you see he is holding Ukrainans knife hand with his teeth

Stanford experiment

I can't believe trump didn't run his campaign on how the democrats are laundering money through this and stole billions from the US taxpayers. He should have a team finding out where the money is and have them executed.
I think he and his advisors decided against it due to the msm's continual/ongoing bullshit agenda that would have made him (Trump) look like a "conspiracy theorist". At least, that's what the msm would have portrayed him as.

Yeah true. It's crazy that people buy into this shit, I see so many Ukraine flags everywhere

Source? Because I was in Iraq 2005-06, 2008 and Afghanistan in 2010 and sure don't remember a ROE like that. Now we could call in CAS or whatever if we saw people walking around with RPG's, digging in roads (planting IED's), burning tires on roads (getting ready to dig), carrying or emplacing MTR's etc. And when I was at a brigade level for one deployment for my actual MOS (13D) we did doe a hell of a fire mission on a compound, but that was due to intel of a HVT there with little to no civ's on it.

I'm not saying it's not possible, as different units in different area's may have different ROE's.... but I find this unlikely given my personal experience hence the request for a source to your claim.

I'd hate to have to try and hold that blood slippery knife with no guard in a knife fight. That makes the tendons in my fingers hurt just looking at it.
Its not a fighting knife , looks more like one of traditional general purpose knives , but many nothern knifes kinda follow similar patern

Its interesting in being asymetric ,side of the blade with a fuller is flat like shears

Here you can get them made in Ukraine
Russia
or US

You cannot disengage at that point. Any wrong move can be fatal. You are either 100% committed or something gets cut that you do not want cut.

Yep.

It is amazing what two people can do when the "it's either me or them" mindset sets in...and for both it is the "them". 100% they both knew it was to the death the moment that they moved towards each other (before the actual fight). The knives were just a last resort as they would have been much happier to shoot the other in the face and continue on.

I think that both would have preferred to not knife fight to the death. With that said, I agree with the post that it was a fight to the death at first meeting. A situation in which neither had a choice. A situation that I hope that I never get into. I did not watch the whole video. 2:08 was enough for me to know the whole story.

Now consider all the US/NATO veterans who watched their buddies get shot and blown up during the most recent 20 year stint and came back home to destroyed marriages and relationships with their kids. Just in time to watch the final loss before “we” walked away from Afghanistan.

Yep. when people cheer for civil war, it typically ends up something like that. There was no victor in that fight! You either die or you see that dead guy the rest of your life! Way too personal!

Imagine how many wars were fought that way for 1000s of years......makes you think "can't we all just get along"!

Agreed. In fact, I haven't really found anything in any other posts here that I do actually disagree with.

It's just that the price is so heinously high to be doing the bidding of the MIC, who doesn't know any of the soldiers, nor could they give two fucks about any of them, their families or their relatives.

As long as the money keeps rolling in, the MIC is happy. So are the sleazy politicians.

Oh, I have. A lot. And, for a long time. That's one of the big reasons that I'm so disgusted by this shit show. Everyone should damned well know better by now. Hell, we/they should have known better back in GW1.

It needs to end and it needed to be 3 or 4 years ago. Yet, here we are. And, why ? Money, pure and simple.

I sincerely hope that no one misinterprets anything that I've said to be disparaging or disrespectful of our Troops. Quite the opposite. In my book, they/you are the pinnacle of honor, commitment and sacrifice. You are the Best.

That’s fine and all but, long blades kill much better is all I’m saying. For example look at the older bayonets, they were long, 1903 bayonets were friggin short swords basically, over time as they became less relevant they have gotten shorter and shorter but a fighting knife blade should never be shorter than 6” IMO, 7-9” more preferably… a shorter blade with no guard like that is a utility knife…

It's been a camp/utility/fighting/scalping knife from the time steel became knives. Granted, a Marine Kabar or Bowie knife may be better in a stand up fight but once on the ground that primitive or timeless Mora style knife is a killer as shown in the video.

So first up the sword bayonet was trying to make rifles into pikes to deter cavalry, secondly 9 inches is getting to long for any type of stabbing knife, Fairbairn-Sykes commando dagger is a more recent iteration of what people have been using for thousands of years and top out at ~7 inches. If you don’t plan on heavy clothing than 4” is adequate but you would not want to go shorter.

Of course it’s a utility knife because even in a combat zone 99.9% of uses will be utility, no guard is mostly fine as these knives are used near the Arctic circle in extreme cold with heavy gloves for ever.

Also K-bar is a bastardised design that is not really useful.
