Was able to get a w3 folder before they took it down. They had stock but only like 3-6 of each. At damn near 50% off im not suprised it sold out so fast.

Then you just email [email protected] for the purchase link. I know it's kind of a wonky work around but we had to do it this way to prevent double selling an item since they were going so fast.
Yes W-3 folders are 700 and fixed W-3's are 500. They are true blems, some are a mix of different generation of parts, etc.

I ordered a w3 folder long action frankenchassis g4/g5. Will be interesting to see what exactly shows up.
You snagged that one right before I could! Post up some pics when you get it if you don't mind. I'm curious to see it. I snagged a T3 folder, or at least I hope I did.
I will. With eurooptic having a sale on tikkas right now if I didn't get the remigton footprint was considering grabbing a tikka chassis and then grabbing a new rifle to for barreled action.
I was planning to do the opposite, well I have a LA Mausingfield on the way and need a chassis for it, so I figured why not go with that one and see what showed up from FedEx! I've already got an extra W3 chassis for a Tikka in black, but I'm digging the FDE so I'll probably just sell the black one I have and replace it with the new FDE one I got.
got my long action whiskey 3 in today. just had a couple of minute to fondle it. Will take pics later. But it is a "blem", but no worse than any of my other guns after 1 or 2 trips to the range. Main thing is the folding mech looks like it was from a well used chassis. The rest has just minor wear on it. All in all it is a heck of a deal and can't wait to get an action that will work in it. Thinking Kelbly atlas tactical right now. Have a tenacity, origin, and my 2 nucleus actions shipped today, so might as well try out the kelbly as well. Although there is a black bear in stock at bruno's right now that is tempting me like crazy. But I have a ton of short action .473 bolt faced actions at the moment.
Note the x marked under the buttstock and in the barrel channel. That way someone can't just act like it was new and sell as such.
