I know you guys know what you’re doing, but there are DBMs for Tikkas that use AICS LA mags. What is the limitation of wedging them into the bottom of a Tikka via Bravo chassis?

1. A new generation of X-ray- It has some nice improvements that we think you'll enjoy-
-Rear stock is now single piece rather than clamshell style with screws
-Tool-less cheekpiece can now be switched to have the thumbscrew on the opposite side
-Tool-less buttpad height is now standard
-Optional tool-less LOP with buttpad height kit available that swaps in
-LOP mechanism can be switched to opposite side as well
-Front end is same as latest gen 3 which includes additional NV mounting points on backbone plus enlarged barrel channel to clear 1.25" straight (we still don't recommend that heavy).
-Final weight not yet known but should be close the gen 3 X-ray of 3.1 lb
-Intro price $449
Avail- late 1st QTR/2nd QTR '20

I’m a sucker, I just bought an older generation for 410...40 bucks more would’ve gotten me this sweet thing
Here they are guys. All of the hardware is swappable for left or right handed shooters. The LOP is adjustable, and inside the stock which is pretty slick. Toolless cheek riser, And the butt pad height is toolless like the w3. Otherwise the rest of the xray is the same one y’all know and love.
These pics are of the 3D printed prototype obviously, I’m sure production versions will be the same texture as their other polymer products. Also sorry for the blurry last pic, I didn’t realize it was ass until I’d already left, but I’m sure y’all can get the gist.
I think this, the ultimatum deuce, and the kestrel HUD are the most interesting products from SHOT I’ve seen so far. I have a deadline in a W3, I’ll be looking to put a deuce in an X-ray as a .22 trainer for sure.

My two cents: if you love your Bravo, dance with the one who brung ya. In other words if it works and you like it I wouldn't mess with it. I love my Bravo, I also like the Whiskey 3 for the folding option, and because it had most of the buttstock functionality I had to add on to the Bravo. However, even though the Whiskey 3 had the bagrider option the Bravo had weight options the W3 did not, and it had the feel of a stock, and the perfect palm swell. For me getting the Bravo was feel and customization options over added expense for the W3, by the time I added all to the Bravo that I wanted the end price was not that far apart but gave me the rifle I had envisioned.
I would advise to see if you can get to handle one somewhere first but then again that's just me, I've got to like the looks and be convinced by functionality and options, and get some tactile time before I make a change - show me the money!
I recently bought a new rifle that had an MDT ESS chassis on it already. I've been shooting it in the MDT and I kind of like it, but I keep thinking about the Bravo sitting in my safe with no barreled action in it (I sold my old barreled action to offset the cost of the new rifle). Today I threw my current barreled action into the Bravo just to see how I feel after getting used to the MDT. I'll need to do some actual shooting with it again to see how I really feel, but the Bravo just balances so much better than the MDT does. My ultimate goal would be to sell the Bravo and MDT and get a W3 as I really fell in love with the one I got to play with at the range last year.
Hey, they're like M&Ms, you can't just have one, sell the MDT, keep the Bravo, and get a W3.
Will the new Gen4 X Ray be available in a Howa 1500 inlet? Or R700/Tikka only?

Thank you to everyone that stopped by. The new X-ray was very well received as was the new 10-22 Bravo.
We don't know if we'll do a Howa in the X-ray or not, that is possible though.
We do have a couple more new things to put up and a couple that we aren't showing until they are closer to being ready.

I’m very intrigued by this too. It looks like this would be by the mag well. I was wondering if that would interfere with the mag function at all.
Wondering the same thing. Keep trying to snag one in the PX but they go fast. Excited about a 4th gen.
I want to wait for the Gen 4. The price difference between it and a used Gen 3 is reasonable and I like the new adjustment options they added. Just hoping the wait is not until next year.
We're looking at sometime inside of 4 weeks from now, it's coming!
@PAYDIRT unfortunately the spigot doesn't have enough meat above the rail. It would really only be a couple inches in front of where you would put a QD mount on the forend though. One option is to get a NV cap and put it on the spigot, it's more money but then you have the top rail and a QD mount spot.
@CarbonMTN They should be ready in the next week or two.

What is the differences between the krg w3 competition and the gen 6 w3 Looking at purchasing one real soon just trying to get some feed back

The comp chassis comes from KRG with the aluminum arca forend and arca spigot, and you save a little compared with buying those parts separately. The standard W3 comes standard with the polymer forend, or optionally with the enclosed forend.
From what I can tell, the biggest limits with the comp chassis are that it's only offered with a fixed stock, and only in a Rem 700 SA inlet.
