KRG X-ray question

To my knowledge 65 inch pounds is fairly standard for the action screws on a precision rifle with an aluminum chassis but if your concerned I would contact KRG directly. Justin has always responded to my emails very quickly. They also have a large presence on the forum and you can contact Justin by his hide name which is Massoud too.

I just got an FDE for my Tikka T3 Tactical (223). Instructions say 35-50 in-lbs and "in our experience, some rifles shoot better with lower torque, around 40 in-lbs". Had to slightly open up the bottom of the receiver to get the .223 AI 10rnd mags to work correctly (I did not want to modify the mags). I really like the stock. It is very comfortable and light weight. The cheek piece is a little high but with with taller rings not a problem. Shot excellent. Great chassis for the price point.

G'day Awaken, getting off topic here.....how do you find the chassis/stock for feel, function & quality?
I’ve been contemplating buying the KRG X-ray for some time now, is it worth the price we pay here down under?

2woppadoobie,

love the Xray, it's my first chassis style stock and I'm planning on getting another 2 so all my rifles feel the same. It's light strong and best of all makes me shoot much more consistently. I would say go for it.....
