I’m looking at getting a new hunting day pack and for use at PRS matches. I think I’ve narrowed it down to the Kuiu venture 2300 or the badlands Diablo dos. Does anyone have any first hand experience with either of these packs? Advantages or drawbacks? I’ve handled the Diablo dos at a local store but can’t find the Kuiu anywhere local to me to check it out. Thanks everyone.

I have been using the Badlands super day pack for a few years now and no complaints with it other than it has so many pockets I have temporarily lost shit and had to dig through the whole pack to find things.
Also have a Badlands Summit but not enough use with it yet to have an opinion of good or bad.
The warranty is as good as it gets but the end goal is to not have to use it.

I've used the venture 1800 for the past two years tree stand hunting in the midwest. I've been happy with its versatility and have strapped 30 lbs of climbing sticks to the back without issues. The zippers have held up well when over-stuffing it.

My only gripe is the lower main compartment pocket is too deep making it hard to utilize while loaded.

I have a Venture 1800, also. It's a good pack, for the most part.

Positives: Durable, well-sized (and adjustable), thoughtfully designed pockets.

Negatives: Longer break-in period due to stiff materials. I am very wary with the hydration bladder pocket, as there is no protection from puncture/leaking.
