Attorney John Pierce of Los Angeles told ABC News that he has been retained to represent Rittenhouse.

"We will obtain justice for Kyle," said Pierce, adding he was headed to Wisconsin Thursday night to meet with his client's family and appear at Rittenhouse's bail hearing on Friday.

Pierce said he has established a legal defense fund for Rittenhouse through a Texas 501(c)(4) nonprofit called #FightBack Foundation Inc. that was formed by him and Georgia attorney L. Lin Wood.

While you're at it you should file a lawsuit in Kyle's name against the Governor of Wisconsin for not sending the National Guard and the Mayor of the city for not requesting them, all of this would likely not have occurred had the police been backed up by the Guard. When he approached the police wearing his firearm, he was ignored. As a retired police officer, I can't imagine doing that, let alone arresting him for fleeing the scene after he tried to give himself up. I stand corrected on my opening. the National Guard was requested and arrived. I was misinformed and I apologize.

Again, I want my money channeled specifically to Kyle's defense.

Desktop site is different from mobile site. When I was on computer, there were two options, one for general donation and one marked Kyle. Looking at site on the iTracker, there’s only the single option for the mass fund.

ETA: per the post above, guess it’s not just a mobile/desktop change. I was on it after the link was initially posted. Hope it’s Kyle who got those funds.

Even if it doesn't directly go to Kyle it seems like this may be a good organization. They are shifty lawyers sure, but it seems like they've been involved in important work. I haven't see any other groups willing to do this type of heavy lifting.

Of the three two of the lawyers have been mentioned in association for the case, one was proposed, the other took it. Apparently they work together.

If it’s his lawyer it will still do some good, the problem is I doubt he’s doing this probono, and the donations may not count towards that fee.

Ok.... much drama. Posted this on the other as well. It said Kyle this morning, then they made it generic (still a good form,,, took Sandman’s case and stomped cnn’s ass)...so good group. BUT, we didn’t send money to a law firm, it was sent to Kyle.

Then they made it generic... good initiative, poor judgement. Pissed a lot of people off who donated to “Kyle”, but money ended up in the Fightback fund....again, I think he meant well as he said he would not take a dime for Kyles case or fees... he said many others are going to need help soon. He also threw a soft lob... after beating cnn and nyt... mentioning twitter and Facebook potential slander and targeted discrimination l... love to see him knock a dent in their ass.

Anyway... people wanted Kyle....

His twitter blew up, I contacted them directly as I expect many many others did.

It now, again, has a Kyle specific fund AND/OR a Fightback fund donation.

Hence.. donate away...
