Interesting.... I checked via phone with my LGS yesterday, and since they are a pawn shop they can stay open, but have to limit the customers inside at once. Washington State has not deemed gun stores essential, and there has been at least one municipality in Western WA that has passed a resolution that, at face value, as written, prohibits carrying weapons to defend yourself. The city council wouldn't even allow comment (I will try to find the article). Bullshit abounds.

Don't know how to interpret this... verbage from the Edmonds WA city council order

Prohibit the carrying or possession of firearms “or any instrument which is capable of producing bodily harm and which is carried or possessed with intent to use the same to cause such harm.” Such order doesn’t apply to peace officers or military personnel engaged in the performance of their official duties.

The sheriff also says that he is releasing 1700 criminals to stop the spread in the jail.

I went to a shop here on the east side yesterday, they've been open since the panic began. Interestingly, pot shops are open too.

In fort worth gun shops appear to not be on the essential list (it reads sporting goods stores are a no go). My buddy closed his shop. The night he closed he was broken into (everything was in the vault so nothing of importance was taken). He's now open.

THIS is definitely a trial run for things to come. We all need to be prepared, because a couple more "trial runs" like this one and shit is going to get real. I really hope I'm wrong. Mac
