They have responded to issues with their app with "we have a new app coming in a few months" for about 2 years now.
I'd hope that the annoyances with the app losing connection and becoming unreliable past the ~100 series/unknown large number of shots threshold would be solvable without a complete hardware refresh. Even a replacement Bluetooth daughterboard would be acceptable if it couldn't be done 100% in software.
The aftermarket have pretty much perfected every shortcoming or annoyance other than the app (several of which LabRadar has bought and resells under their brand). I know they are not a fan of the recoil trigger which is a bit amusing given they have a similar device for their Infinition products.
But I understand the issue there is people contacting them for support on it Vs the trigger vendor (tip, the originator of the idea [Piet] provides the most info on use, that ain't the copycats).
