Lapua's website says 2713 fps and 27" test barrel, Midway says 2600 fps, no test barrel. Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to chrony this and out of what length barrel. 2600 fps seems a little on the slow side.
I've had great results w/ 300 gr scenars, 2750 was the velocity my gun grouped best at. My surgeon has a 26.5" barrel w/ a 9.5 twist, I'd use lapua brass, FG 215 primers and 92 grains of Retumbo.
