I have been told I will need to grind down my de-priming pin on my sizing dies to fit the lapua flash hole? Looking for people with actual experience with this. I have purchased Lapua brass because that is the only thing I can find.
    Thanks in advance.

Not that I have heard of, I size 308 Lapua brass in both a standard RCBS full length and Redding S full length and never had a decapping pin stick. Now if you are shooting the small primer palma, I am not sure about those.

Right on. I will check it tonight. I guess if the peg fits the slot that will tell the rest of the story. I am going to load some up tonight and was bord at work.
What do you guys think of the Lapua brass vs the other choices available?

    Lapua .223/.260/.308/.338LM--No

Lapua and Alexander Arms (made by Lapua) 6.5 Grendel--Yes

That makes sence now. I have been reading up on loading for 5.56, 6.5 grendel, and 308. I have a set of Forster 6.5 grendel FL dies on there way. Will it come with a smaller decapping pin or will I need to get one?

the only damned really SMALL (2 cracked pins!)flash hole I've encountered was on 7.62x51/.308 Hirtenberger_ Lapua are flawless, in my .308 and .222 experience_ (I like better separately decapping anything with a cheap Lee Universal Decapping Die,anyway)_

    On the 308 & 30-06 brass it's OK.

But when I work up Bench Rest brass from 220 Russian to either 22 PPC or 6mmPPC, I always recut the flash holes with an undersized hand reamer. Sinclair has them in stock usually. Before they started carrying them I used to have to order them from a speciality house.

The only small hole flash holes I actually have run into is on something benchrest or competition related.
