There is a BHP on consignment at a local shop. It is a regular Mark III with a serial number starting with 511MW5xxxx. I handled the
pistol and have these observations.
Finish is nearly 100%. While I could not field strip the pistol due to a busy counter, I note the magazine disconnect was still in place, so I assume no customizing, as that is usually the first
thing that's changed. Slide to frame was tight, all controls seemed tight, little or no barrel wear from what I could see with the slide locked back.
Questions: My serial number research returns a 2009 manufacture. Is this correct?
What was the NIB cost for a standard Mark III around 2009?
What is the average asking price now for a Mark III like this with very little use?
Thank you
