One was a straight up criminal working in the best interests of money in a pay to play scheme which also leveraged and jeopardized American blood and treasure; the other was Trump.

Well, I'm certainly not convinced that his past voting record resembles anything like what he claims. However, what I meant by my previous comment was that when I think of someone communicating their position effectively, I think more in terms of making a good argument for why they believe what they do (which he definitely did not do). It's no challenge whatsoever just to communicate "what" you believe. The "why" is the challenge.
