I would like to see a world where firearms are looked on as merely tools not items of intimidation.

Thats supposed to be the point of the Pro 2A open carry movement.

The difference is that the Pro 2A display is to promote that specific right but this show seems only intended to intimidate.

What I find most interesting about this display is the hypocrisy.

Four years ago these things may have been marching in support of Obams gun control post Newtown.

The interesting conversation to have with them would be how they came to have their Come to Jesus moment with regard to the 2A.

Do they still want govt taking that right from them?

hence why i said "attempt to intimidate"......never said they were successful at it....but it is clearly their intention to try and due so.

im personally not very concerned about a bunch of hipsters in some cheap Chinese tac gear.....ive known enough actually dangerous people to know that they wont parade around if they want to harm you.....theyll just do it.

In the end I see it as a provocation. I doubt any of those guys want something to kick off. It's a provocation to the likes of us to 'do something' escalate the situation and make ours be the first to fire a shot and then, well, it's another anecdote to be used against us.

REMEMBER - there is game plan in play centered around the mid-terms. We neutered Obama in his first term, they're looking to return the favor. We should bake them cookies and give them milk. Take away their only REAL weapon - propaganda.

Hehehhe, well they are all commies, but these are American commies, they get rights too. Mentioned earlier that these look like fat Castro items from the mountains of Cuba in the late fifties, the difference is that the rest of Cuba was not armed to the teeth like the US is today.

Go to a large gun show and look at the crowd and look close, you will see a shift in demographics at the shows . I see lots more minorities too. This is a good thing, people exercising their rights is always good for all of us. I think the leftys are over reacting to TRump but I also thought the right was over reacting to Obama until his last 2 years.

Yep, could be that too. But didn't 97% of DOJ employee political donations go to Dems last year? I'm not sure priorities in various fed agencies are going to change overnight. Under BH0's minions I would have expected feds infiltrating peaceful Trump marchers getting pepper sprayed by hateful hippies, not the other way round. Think I'm off base there? Here's Loretta Lynch recently (this coming from the top helps explain the crowds in Phoenix (if anyone is incredulous about this quote there is video if you need it):

Not really. The first part just seems silly to me. It is, as Army Jerry said, leftys overreacting to Trump (Man, it feels weird to agree with Jerry). I don't see anything wrong with the second paragraph. Encouraging people to march or demonstrate to express their beliefs, and telling them that it might cost them something, is fine.

- All the 'open carry' and armed 2nd Amendment people we've seen over the years look like total fucking clowns as well. Remember the pictures of those retards at Starbucks with a Tapco fucked SKS, and the other guy probably about to faint because hes standing up for more than 5 minutes at a time? Or what about the complete metrosexual beta males accompanied by fat older guys who were wanting open carry because they couldn't squeeze a pistol and holster inside their XXXXXXL Dickies any longer? 90% of the people at gunshows and at gun stores look, and act like fucking clowns. Most of the people at the range, are total fucking clowns. The only difference between all of them is a political belief/political ideology. Yet somehow, people on gun forums and conservatives that own firearms think they will by some magic force simply overcome them.

- This may be the clown show currently, but underestimate anyone with a firearm. especially when properly organized and trained in SUT will put you in the ground. Fine, these faggots won't get anywhere, but I'm willing to bet they aern't/wouldn't all be like this. Time will tell, but the idea that 'we've owned guns longer' or 'I have 74 rifles at home' as a reason as to why you'd be able to fight these fucks and live, isn't a valid response and doesn't make sense. We've had this discussion, ad nauseam. Anybody who hasn't gotten and read the memo is most likely a brain-dead motherfucker. Yes, any idiot with a chambered round can kill you, and no, if you aren't ready by now, you most likely never will be. If you aren't in a position to suit up for the game, be ready to invest your time and money in others who can and will defend the Constitution and its provisions. 74 rifles are as good as 74 trombones if you haven't willing arms to bear them, the wherewithal to feed them, and the heart to use them.

Hopefully nothing comes of any of this stupidity. But I might buy and break in some decent boots, were I you.

That much is obvious. Using the major candidates from the last election cycle as a reference, it would seem to me that the political left of center more liberal ones were candidates that would be fighting to seize those weapons your are carrying. Would your group be demonstrating against say a President Sanders or Clinton if they were following through with their campaign promises of banning all those guns you have?

Phoenix John Brown Gun Club As a group, we don't like democrats, nor do we support them. They are rich,entrenched politicians that care for our problems as little as the Republicans do.

On the subject of hypothetical presidents, though...Neither candidates have said they were going to do that. While we dislike Clinton specifically for her policy record and record as an entrenched, wealthy politician, neither she nor Sanders have advocated for the banning of guns. The most they promised is universal background checks. Unless you can tell us when they've said that?
