Leica 3200.com vs Zeiss victory rf

Trying to decide between these 2 lrf binos.... For those of you who have tried these lrf binos....I know the bt connection is next to useless on the Leica but how does it work as a rangefinder? Will it range a deer sized target at 1500 yards? I would never shoot a deer at that range but it is nice to know what it will do on fur. Will it range a coyote at a 1000 plus yards? I am sure it will range an elk at over 2000 but they are a large animal..Same questions apply to the Zeiss.....Any and all input would be greatly appreciated

Yes on the Leica. If you can hold it steady enough, you're good to go. Without a tripod at those ranges, it's a real M Fer.

Can't speak to the Zeiss.

I have the Zeiss Victory RF 10x42. The only thing I don't like about it is the ranging circle is too big. I find myself reaching for the old Vectronix Terrapin for range finding because of it's small reticle especially for long range. YMMV

I've ranged out to a mile with the Leica. Most recently was shooting 900+ yards in horrible conditions (heavy rain, fog, low visibility) and the Leica still gave an accurate reading while the vast majority of shooters could not get their laser to give a reading.

As SkyScrapin mentioned, all of these will work better on a tripod especially if working small targets.

I wanted the 8x56 and unfortunately there aren't any in Canada and ordering from a U.S dealer would make them much more expensive because of duty and customs .Also at the moment Leica U.S.A has ZERO stock or the 8x56 and even the 10x42.......Guess I will just have to use my leica 2700b for hunting season which starts next week.....disappointing....

Received the Leica 3200.com today and have to send them back for a few reasons. First the reticle is not in the center of the binos but was clearly shifted to the right. I played with it for a couple of hours to see if I could get used to it but it was just way too annoying to live with. The range button also takes far too much force to press. How can anyone hold on target with a button like that. I doubt you could reliably range a deer at even 300 yard range without a brace. I couldn't imagine ranging one at 500 yards with a button like that. I had the original Leica HD-B and had no problems ranging deer at 800 yards. has anyone else had these problems?
