So I am looking for a new scope for general long range shooting mostly steel plates. We don't really have PRS competitions here currently.
Trying to decide between these 2 specifically the M7Xi 4-28x56 with MSR2 reticle or the Leica PRS with the Ballistic Reticle as opposed to the PRB reticle.
Either scope will have to be imported for me as neither is stocked by any dealers here in NZ so.................which one and why is the question or are they too different to compare againse each other?? Will be going on either my 6.5SAUM or 300NM
Cheers in advance

Out of interest, why have you narrowed it down to those two specifically?
Mainly because these 2 I can easily source at almost "reasonable" pricing. Already have a Mk5 so wanted to go with euro glass this time.
both have similar mag ranges and FFP with slightly different reticles. PRS is not a thing here so most shooting is long range steel, paper targets or when access is possible deer at long range.

Gotcha. I've not seen a Leica scope in the flesh (have heard they've got good glass though) but was impressed with the Steiner I've seen (a few years ago mind). From a quick look at the specs the Leica seems to have more elevation adjustment built in but I assume you'll be using a mount with elevation so that should negate it.

I don't think the extra magnification on the Leica will make much difference all things considered.

It's a tough one as everyone has different eyesight and will like/dislike different scopes. Is there no way you can get behind one in person? How much of a rush are you in to get a scope?
