This was our cat, Judy. The most personable, feisty, smartest dog we ever had. She was a Japanese bobtail (who finds a J bobtail in Missi'ppi?) who wagged her tail like a dog; if she was awake she got up to greet me when I came into the room and her tail wagged ferociously all the time. She panted when she ran a lot, hanging her tongue out with her mouth open when fatigued. The picture below is of her "talismans". They were her favorite toys. Whenever we'd have "strangers" visit, she'd hurriedly assemble them from all over the house running at a fierce pace, and drop all four of them at the doorway to the bedroom, where she'd hide until either she calmed down enough to come out, or the visitor left.
This cat was so smart, when she played chase games with the other cats, she'd run from the left of this photo across 15 feet of tile, jump up and bounce off the wall (just out of sight on the right of this photo), and haul ass into the bedroom. All the other cats would Keystone cops-slide into the wall and slam it, then run in place to gain traction and resume the chase. Judy looked like Bo Jackson:
When I'd leave town for a coupla weeks, my wife said Judy would only sleep under the covers at the foot of the bed on my side. (She never slept under anything, ever.) We lost her to liver cancer. Even during her last two days (over the weekend) without food or water (a LOOONG time for a cat to have no water) she dragged herself up to follow me from room to room. I mostly carried her on that last Sunday. It was a shame and my privilege to put her down, Feb 13, 2017.

Two of my idiots Lady is the black one, Shes half Basset and half Coon hound. Incredible huntress.
Buddy the basset is no slouch in the hunting department either, Thats a fresh chipmunk in his mouth. Hes 9 years old and going strong. Hes my ass attachment and followes me everywhere, unless hes really tired and asleep. Hes a rescue that someone my sister knows couldnt care for. He spent the first nine moths of his life crated 15+ hours a day. He came to live with us and now has 5 fenced acres of woods to do dog stuff in.
My wife has a part lab part champion fence jumper that followed her home. Hes very protective of her and deathly afraid of storms. Very sweet and perceptive dog, but dumb as a box of hammers.
The cat wont allow pictures of her self and is louder than the rest combined.
I cant understand why people have dogs and dont take time to exercise them or have room for them to dog in.
We dont deserve dogs.

Have lots of pets, only one lives inside that I have to feed.

Winner of blue ribbons in four states, she was a winner, (but not really a pet). Next, our favorite dog of all times, a great friend, very gentle with children, but never ever enter the property threatening (he would not try to keep a bad fellow in his vehicle, he really wanted to get him out). Finally, the only critter left in our family. As harmless as she looks, she is a real killer with a genuine taste for human blood (and nothing that walks on four legs of flys is safe in her presence, she is the quintessential ATTACK CAT.
We had the pleasure to train some fine horses, had a few really great dogs, had barn cats that could be depended on to rid the barn of all vermin. Only Warpaint left.

Blue Point Siamese. 8 year old males. Littermates. Indoor cats, very entertaining, active, social, and talkative.

Thank you!!! I just cannot believe the cruelty that people inject on poor dogs. My pup who I lost last year was a rescue lab, and he was about that skinny (29 lbs I think). Yet, when they meet their new person, they will love them more than anything.
Sister(top pic) & brother(bottom) that we got from Craigslist when they were kittens. They were born in a scuzzy trailer park and were malnourished and sick when we got them. They’re both lazy worthless indoor cats(redundant, I know) that are just as annoying as one another but in different ways. The white one spends the winter in a series of naps laying in various heat registers in the house. The black one loudly and obnoxiously asks for attention but skitters away from almost everyone who tries to pet him

We have 3 rescue mutts! MiLo, Yogi, & Rocket. All with their cold weather coats on when it was below zero here in Wyoming.
So good that rescue dogs are given a second chance.
Our greyhound is a rescue, one day away from being sent to university laboratories by her former owner/GH racer.
We foster rescue dogs, socialise them with our clowns, in preparation for their forever homes.

Yours are so cute! If we could have more we would. Having 3 at the same time is a chore for sure. People that don’t have pets will never understand that they are part of the family, just like having kids.
They are our furkids.
I'd gladly have more.
My better half has set the limit for now, till the house is fully fenced.
Due to our acreage, we don't have a limit to how many dogs we can have.
Got the 2 acres around house fenced, but want the front wall and gate done, and boundary walls completed.
