If the tweet came from someone who opposes red flag laws, I would have read it just like u did. Considering the red flag laws is what he among tons of other GOP members have been pushing, I dont think that it's out of sarcasm or out of challenge to the law. In theory, I agree. The rub is, if they didnt have BS laws for "minors", that shit bag wouldve been formally charged with serious threats of violence, had a criminal record, and wouldn't have been able to buy the guns. There would be no need for a red flag law.
What happens when grandma starts running stop signs and almost killing people on the road, yet still has a car and a valid driver's license? The family takes the keys to the car. Should be the same for guns. Everyone, including his family HAD TO KNOW this dude was crazy af. Take his guns and tell the police of his history.
