Let's see some sass rifle/builds!!! Post'em up factory or home build anything goes!

Took a while to build this myself but I finally got it up and running last month.
Built on a DPMS stripped lower and an 18" SS CMMG complete upper receiver group Mod1 HG
Added at Wilson Combat TTU and a buffer from Heavybuffers. Topped it off with a
Nikon M-308. Recently swapped out the UBR stock for a PRS and added an atlas bipod.
Frist time out at the range I just started to get it dialed in and I noticed that flyer - sadly
that is what happens when you don't torque down your mounts to the right specs. Had
to pack it in since no tools. The target photo was taken with my phone thur my spotting scope
(little blurry) - misc build photos here in this gallery.
Future plans: I'll add a AAC 51T brake and look to upgrade the glass.

My Armalite 300 Ultra SASS

Armalite 24" 300 SAUM upper with a 1:10 twist threaded 5/8x24 for the YHM Phantom QD suppressor mount.
Installed a tac latch on the charge handle and replaced the original fiberglass tube with a TROY 13.8" MRF Battle Rail.
Nightforce 5.5-22x56 NXS with the NP1RR glass in a 20 MOA AADMOUNT

Went with an Armalite stripped lower
Armalite NM 2 Stage trigger with 3 lb JP Springs
KNS Anti Rotation trigger pins
Tubbs Enhanced AR10 Flat chrome silicon buffer spring
CAA SRS Sniper Stock with the Monopod
Ergo Tactical Deluxe Suregrip with the palm shelf and a Magpul MOE trigger guard

300SASS.jpg
How do you like the CAA stock. My AR 10 is arriving this week and changing the furniture is the first order of business. I'm debating still between the CAA, Magpul PRS and Magpul UBR stocks.

Also, what carry handle is that? I like it a lot.

It's just a Blackhawk I had in lying around . I was only going to use it temporary until I got around to ordering something else.
But the damn thing just works and locks up tight as shit. So I just left it on.

Everyone hates it, which is great for me cause I love them. I got both of mine used and couldn't be happier. I'm considering another for a bolt action rifle with a chassis. The only part that is not on the same level as the PRS is the adjustable comb. That's only because it locks at the rear and can tilt at the front. The PRS adjustment is in the middle which prevents tilt. I've found that you can set it to a sweet spot that allows you to settle into it, and have it stop where you need it. Learn to use it and it's every bit as good.
The PRS has what...3/4" of LOP adjustment. This bad boy has almost 4 inches. The butt plate also has about 2.5" up and down and the bipod that's included, is far superior to the Accushot. Not only that, but the Accushot on a PRS hangs below the standard stock lines like an after though. The monopod on the SRS is out of the way and has roughly 3.5" of adjustments. It's also got built in flush cups that aren't available standard on the PRS.

I don't know that it's worth 400...but easily worth $100 more than the PRS.

The carry handle...that's my RAPTR Grip that I've been developing for a few years. I need to get together with the boys at Horizon Machine to get the Mk1 and Mk2 designs into production.

I love those stocks. Especially the fact that you don't have to carry a bag or monopod around in your pocket. Everyone does indeed rail on the "quality" yet I've never had an issue. They're lighter than a PRS with monopod attached as well. That's a clean stick c bass...
