lets see your foundation stock

Oooh ooooh! 😮

Approx how much distance off center?

Got my new to me stock today had to do a little Dremel work on the bolt handle port to fit the origin bolt, the stock was for a tl3. Will clean it up a little better before sealing it but functions perfectly. Has anyone used a Salmon river solution hunter arca/pic full length rail on the Revelation? I think it would follow the shape of the forearm better than a full length arca rail.

Anyone else see the new Gideon hybrid hunting stock? I'd kill for a thumb shelf on it but otherwise looks good depending on weight.

The had a couple of them at the PRS finale last weekend. I handled one briefly, it felt very nice in the hand and a lot like an MG2 style grip. Very light weight as well.

Would love to shoot one someday to see how they feel.

On the Samson they offer two grips which one is better for somewhat bigger hands?

Both the MG2 grip and the Centurion style grip are fine for big hands. It just depends if you prefer a vertical style grip that's closer to the trigger (Centurion) or a more traditional slightly angled grip with a bit more distance to the trigger (MG2).

I thought the MDT bottom metal was based around the Badger version.......just confirming the Hawkins does work with the MDT with the adj mag latch?

Does any have a krg whiskey 3 chassis they can compare the length of the forends with the foundation samson? Or any foundation just for my mind. Above the guy gave me some measurements and I'm not 100% sure I'm right with the forend being 14 they almost look or based on that measurement 16 inches

Yes, the MDT is M5 pattern, so it'll work with Foundations as well. I have tried on all 3 of mine and its been perfect. The adjustable mag latch is so nice.

Anybody have experience with a Samson in long action? Thinking about selling my MG2 and grabbing one.
Gotta be pretty close to the SA variant no? I haven't handled one yet to be honest I much prefer the aesthetics of the OG foundations. Not saying that won't change when I do get to fondle one but the OGs are way better on the eyes for sure.

The new adjustable butt plate does pique my interest though.

It’s nice, I purchased one separately for my MG2.

Since i took a picture for another Forum, i thought, why don´t show it here, too ?
So, here it is:

Bergara B14 Premiere Elite, which came with a MDT ACC Elite Chassis
26" MTU Barrel from Bergara with a Area419 Muzzle Brake
TT Diamond Trigger
6.5 Creedmoor
Athlon Ares ETR 4.5-30x56
MDT Elite Scope Rings
Internal Weights in the front of the Stock are built by a Friend of mine

The Carbon Fibre Mirage Shield and the Case is from my F-T/R Rifle

Color on the Stock is "Alpin", don´t know if that is a special Color for our Importet or not.

The current “family.” L-R: Samson/Centurion black, Samson/Genesis 2 dark distressed, Centurion dark.

Main match rifle is the left, with 223 trainer on the right. Center is the current project and is about to become a 25x47.

I’d also like to say the MDT Precision Bottom Metal is awesome. It’s not the prettiest, but it dropped right in and the adjustable mag latch was essential in fine tuning the 223 mags.

Really nice that you running an Ultimatum Deadline in an Foundation Stock. What inlet is this? Is this a special one for the ultimatum action or a standard rem700?

What mag inlet have you ordered that the MDT DBM sits flush?

I’m curious as well. I have an MDT bottom metal and deciding on which inlet to go for now.

Thanks! The inlet the Deadline is in was originally for Impact and then Foundation opened it up slightly to accommodate a TL3/RimX. I believe the standard R700 inlet will work too (needs swept bolt handle channel). The MDT bottom metal is standard M5 pattern, so the “Hawkins M5” inlet will work for just about all M5 pattern DBMs. I’ve successfully used Hawkins, OTM, MDT, Grayboe and KMW M5 bottom metal on my Foundation stocks.

My Deadline action is a Gen 1 and has always been finicky with mags/feeding, so the adjustable mag latch on the MDT bottom metal was critical. Runs flawlessly now with 223 Accurate mags.

Life originally started as a MPA PMR PRO2 with the CDG action in a MPA Matrix Pro chassis, Fore-end was too wide for my hands and I decided to try a Foundation stock and haven't looked back since.
This is the coyote color way and looks darker in person than the photos!

This Rail is from Anarchy Outdoors, afaik, they don´t produce it anymore.
The only "adjustment" from the wheel is how strong the grip is. Iirc, there is a insert/T-Nut in the Anschütz Rail on the Foundation Stock and with the Wheel, you can screw the Arca Rail on.

Foundation now has a bunch of new Gear, like Arca rails, a knob for the Cheekpiece and so on. Just take a look at the Website

Oh damn. I thought it looked like you could move it with the thumb wheel
