I just went to the range with my grandfather today to sight in my remington 700 i recently bought. Heres how I hit :

5 shots @300 meters from my AW 260.

The first shot was low and the rest are in the large hole on top.

Good start to your groupings. Keep at it - trigger time is more important than almost anything else. Use the other groups shown below your post as inspiration with the knowledge that it can be done.

Here's my most recent 100 yd 5 round group, shot with a 700 LTR in .308, 100 yds, 168 SMK with my hand loads, from a couple weeks ago. .42"

Then there's my best 100 yd 5-round group so far, shot last May. .35" 5 shots. Same rifle, 168 FGMM factory ammo.

Thanks guys I aprpreciate the pics! I was looking at a new B&C medalist 5 stock and a nikon 4.5-12x50. Does anyone know if the B&C stock will fit properly on my ADL model 700?

Those 500 and 700 yard groups are awe inspiring! I'm still working on my 200 yd. groups...
