To make a long story short, I had four Form 4s returned for correction because I had moved between submitting them and them making it to the top of the action pile. The agent processing my forms called personally to help me. This took a couple calls to make sure I had made the corrections correctly. (Since they were on my computer and I have software to edit PDF files, the forms were easy to tweak and print.)

From my perspective, she did more than the bare minimum for her job. So, I got the name of her manager and wrote a short letter of appreciation.

You might try it when one of the agents helps you.

Cheers,
Richard

My last set I think I had model name and caliber the same, she called to clarify it and corrected it. Extremely helpful, and polite, suprised the hell out of me. Best service I have ever gotten from a government official.

I have had an number of issues of the years, and even though the ATF takes the blame every damn time it has always been the dealers fault in the end. Of the two forms over the years that had to be resubmitted for errors both ended same as yours. And both approved in under 2 weeks after resubmit. The ATF are really good to work with in my experience. Dealers are the douche bags (not all of them).

Frustrating in the suppressor forum when someone posts "I have xxxxxx problem, what do I do" . Call the ATF, always a good place to start.
