We will be doing a range review soon I hope.
I know $4k is a lot. I know the MIL has about 35 units they are running and getting more.

Not picking on anybody but just doing math.
New hot-rodded Leupy:
35 scopes x $4,000= $140,000
1,000 scopes x $4,000= $4,000,000. (4 million dollars)
100,000 scopes x $4,000= $400,000,000. (400 million dollars)
If buying a nice NF or USO with similar but manageable characteristics;
35 scopes x $1,500= $52,500
1,000 scopes x $1,500= $1,500,000. (1.5 million dollars)
100,000 scopes x $1,500= $150,000,000 (150 million dollars
Hmmmmmm
......Let me think about it.
No, I think I will pass on the Leupy with the $4,000 price tag.
*If they come up with a scope that pre-programs correct aiming points for all targets based upon wind readings, temps,yardage and it automatically adjust the retical for a correct hit even for a beginner, it would be worth it.
*But if you still have to practice with the $4,000 dollar scope and still have to adjust and read wind and know range then I don't see how it could be THAT much better.
*Let's get this country out of debt.
I would rather not put one of the states up for hock on the next loan we take from China.
Just my humble opinion.
