Rifle Scopes Leupold drop on 1/21

I know nothing, pure speculation.

I heard a while back that the mk4 was going to be released with a bunch of features guys wanted in the mk5 line, line a non-retarded windage dial and parallax down to 25 or so. Wouldn't surprise me if they were dropping a "refresh" of the mk5 line. No way it's coming with a price drop, so if you're going to be satisfied with a mk4, I doubt there's anything they'd release that would change your mind.

Since they recently released the Mark 5 2-10 and most recently the Mark 4 2.5-10 hard to imagine they'd put out yet another MPVO with a sucky reticle or a $500 upcharge for illumination. But I'm still hoping one day Leupold will get it right, so crossing my fingers and knocking on wood for this one.

It’s going to be a non-illuminated SFP Duplex reticle 2.5-8x with exposed 1/4 MOA turrets.

You’re welcome.
I know you guys have been asking for am awesome MPVO, so we've put our VX3 2.5-8 in a 35mm tube and given you exposed 12moa Rev turrets (not locking). It has an amazing 400moa of elevation for your ELR needs.

Paired with our new MOA ballistic plex reticle in FFP you'll be able to shoot hogs all the way to 150yards as we've calibrated it for 30-30 and 357mag lever guns.

You a Leupold rep?

Could've fooled me.

Got it on pretty good word it’s revamped VX-6 line with better internals. No word on reticles.
The silhouette looks very close to VX-6 2-12x42 SFP scope...

Mk5 2-10 now can come with an illuminated mil tree "CMR" reticle and a tan body

Not bad. A lot of gap around the donut, but I think I’ll give it a shot. I still don’t know how it took 2 years to come out with a reticle like this, but I’ll give it a shot.

Edit: seems like it will work well at 2x. I like the thick crosshairs and how they taper. Overall it has a lot of Athlon AHMR2 vibes and that’s a good thing.

But man is this optic expensive. MSRP $2,600-$2,700 Even with a sizeable military discount, it’s still pricey. Does it really deserve to cost about the same as a March 1-10/1.5-15 dual focal plane?
