Totally agree... Some people get luck now and then and whoever buys one can sell it for as much as they want for it. Shame on them for being in the right place at the right time. LOL
So by selling at market price on a public forum they're exploiting the hide? If you have more than one rifle I'd like to come by and pick one up. Sounds like you're feeling the Bern.
Don’t apologize. People are just being cry babies because they didn’t get the deal. If you were asking $1500 I could see the concern but your time has to be worth something. I saw some guys drove 3-4 hours and waited in line. Doesn’t make sense to sell them for $100 Over what you paid. Shipping insured will cost about $60-70 bucks
There should be no concern. I bought a bunch of USMC return stocks and sold them for very close to what I paid around ($400 if I remember correctly) and a Month later people were selling them for $1000 or more including at least 2 people I sold them to. One friend I sold to for cost and he recently sold for $1500. Taught me a lesson. This is America.. If you get a great opportunity to buy a scope, car, house, boat whatever.... cheap.. You Don't need to let someone else capitalize of your luck. Nobody is forcing anyone to buy a scope and nobody NEEDS a scope. It ain't like they are selling food at an inflated price boys..

For those of you who took time off of work and made a 4hr round trip like I did, to benefit yourselves, good for you. First come first serve. Sell them for what YOU want out of it, it's yours. If someone doesnt like the price, move on.

let me clarify, i have no issue with people making a reasonable, or unreasonable amount if they find the right sucker. hell my little brother made 100 of me and 200 off the other guy on here he bought one for.
as i said before ultimately the market will decide if the price is right.

Pull the turret off (loosen the two set screws) and use a screw driver to turn the elevation all the way down. At that point you should have full travel when the turret goes back on. Mine does 27 mils out of the box. My guess would be someone screwed with the zero stop on yours. Sorry if I've misunderstood and you tried this already.
I guess I'm in the wrong.. I apologize, I've just been the guy to sell things at good prices to people that need something. Offer to help" even guys on the internet I dont know". I bought a guide license to buy tags for veterans.. just the guy I am.

@dspjaggar - Thank you for the heads up on these. I'd been eying these and Burris XTR3 for a while hoping for a deal. I snagged 2 Mark 5's tax free in Delaware Sat.

Nope you’re not in the wrong. Do I think people should buy every scope they have if they are close to a cabelas, no. But if you make 300 bucks off of two scopes and drove a few hours I say it’s worth your time. My time is valuable. Price gouging and being greedy is not okay but covering your time and getting a deal is fine by me.
Now if we could get a few more hide members to email Scalerworks like I did today.
Ask them to make 20 & 30 moa 35mm mounts. As popular as Mark 5's are on gas guns it should be a no brainier for them!

Not sure if you were referencing the mount? It's a Sika deer (Japaneese Elk), no tags needed. Open during White tail season here in MD. That mount is about as big as they get. Think he was about 90lbs, very tasty

Was referencing Kaseys post was more of a jk. I didnt even notice the mount in your pic until you said something. But I did watch a video a while back about a dude hunting sika. Was really interesting

As low as you can possibly get. I run arc m10 lows (0.94") with a 20 moa base on my tikkas. ( mark 5s with 56 mm objectives) and they still clear with sendero contour barrels. Hawkins makes a .88" and I believe there is a company that makes an extra low but I cant remember who.

Nothing wrong with being a good guy. Everyone has a different conscience but if someone want to try and get as much $ as they can for an item no matter what they paid for it....you can't chide them for that. If people here are pissed at that then DON"T offer to buy the item.
Their website seemed to be pretty up to date. It showed up as out of stock a couple hours after I left. I called down there before I trusted the website to confirm if they had any to avoid a long drive for nothing.
I just like to say to all the people that got a a hell of a deal that is f#&$ awesome. Love it when you get a steal like that makes your whole day and do whatever you want with it sell keep trade it’s your business. Please it’s enough of bashing someone who got them and trying to sell for more or what they got into it.

I bought a pile of vortex razor spotters like 18 of them for $300 or less Nov 2018. I also grabbed some Leica and Zeiss stuff in that deal but just ones and twos.
They did a blow out on RMR's both type 1 and then type 2.
I don't have any current examples. But if i did--I wouldn't be inclined to share them either...
