Hello, Im looking for a good Competition Handgun. Like the ones they use for speed competitions. I do not know brands or types.

I also plan on buying a Kimber(no hate please) and wondering what i should upgrade on it other than firing pin.

Thanks

Re: LF Competition Handgun

These speed competitions you're talking about normally require lots of ammo per stage, the larger mag capasity you have, the less magazine changes meaning quicker times.

I shoot production gun, both revolver and semi. Revolvers are different, slower but you're in a seperate class. I shoot a Bretta 92FS in the semi production classes, with 18 round mags.

I can shoot my Series 70 Gold Cup more accuratly but on those plates that kind of accuracy isn't needed, but the extra 11 rounds per magazine saves a lot of time on mag changes, hense better overall times.

Yeah I wasnt expecting to get told what to use. Was just looking for suggestions.

Thanks for the advice on the semi. Im not into revolvers just yet so ill be trying the semi class.
